Crowns of flowers have been popular for decades, but we like this version for it's fresh, modern feel. And yet it's also very inexpensive, never mind how easy it is to make!
You will need:
2 yards of narrow silk ribbon
1 stem of hyacinth (take off individual blossoms)
1 needle

1 stem of hyacinth (take off individual blossoms)
1 needle
Make the flower crown the night before or the morning of your wedding. Thread the ribbon through the needle. Stick the needle through the center of the hyacinth flowers (removed from stem). Leave about one inch between each flower.
Measure the chain of flowers to your head at the spot you want to wear it. Tie up the ends of the ribbon into a bow. Keep in the fridge over night.
You may want to make two, keeping a back up in the fridge if your wedding day is sunny and hot!
